PAYMENT, DEPOSIT & SHIPPING INFORMATION
I will accept deposits to hold your puppy ($200.00 non refundable) until it is ready for pick up, delivery or shipping. I determine when puppy is strong enough to go to its new home or be shipped.
My prices are from $600.00 to $900.00, depending on size, color and confirmation.
I will not ship a puppy under 10 weeks of age.If puppy becomes incapacitated in any way prior to pick up, delivery or shipping, the entire deposit will be returned within 60 days.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to make arrangements to pick the puppy up from the airport when puppy arrives. Plan ahead and allow at least 1 hour for paperwork and transfer of puppy from aircraft to pet terminal.I ship with Delta Airlines, so weather is the major factor in determining when I can ship. There are many airports that do not have facilities to care for live animals. Be sure to check with me to ensure your puppy can be shipped to your location, you may have to travel to a nearby town. With Delta, it is especially difficult for me to ship into the north central US and Canada.
Be advised Canada has an import fee that has to be paid by the buyer at the time of pick up. The latest update I have; buyer pays a 13% Canadian custom fee on the "purchase price" of the dog, and a $45.00 airline "holding" fee.
With advance planning I am able to ship Internationally. In all cases I try to ship the puppy the most direct route with the least amount of layover time.Shipping fees for International flights range from $1,300.00 and up, this includes shipping/custom/import fees, area specific shots and procedures, mandatory vet procedures and bloodwork. It also includes 9 to 10 months feed, vet and in-home care to prevent quarantine.
The above prices include cargo ticket, airline approved crate/travel kit, and vet health certificate. The airlines and/or the import countries set these fees and I have no control over them.
IN ORDER TO PREVENT MY DOGS FROM GOING INTO QUARANTINE WHEN SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY THEY MAY HAVE TO REMAIN WITH ME UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 9 MONTHS OF AGE TO CONCLUDE ALL TEST AND RABIES SHOTS REQUIRED FOR EXPORT.
If puppy is to be shipped, shipping date may be determined by weather. When you choose a puppy I will send updated pictures every 2 weeks so you can watch them as they grow.
All puppies will come with a copy of their medical records, vet health certificate, registration application, and written helpful hints on caring for your new Chihuahua.
I accept Pay Pal, but purchaser pays the surcharge. I will accept personal checks for deposit only. I prefer postal money orders.
